Black Coaches Classic
Dropping the Ball in High School Athletics: Why a Written Social-Emotional Learning Curriculum on Teams Changes Everything, is a book dedicated to advancing a model of high school and youth sports teams where facilitating coaches intentionally and explicitly teach social-emotional learning (SEL) and sport psychology skills within a positive, safe, student-centric framework.
The Black Coaches Classic grew out of a concern for the underrepresentation of Black leaders in coaching and in the administrative ranks of scholastic and collegiate athletics. Bob Hohler wrote in the Boston Globe on August 22, 2020 that, "The lack of Black leaders in New England college sports is what institutional and systemic racism looks like". We agree that representation matters, and we decided to do something about it.

School Reopening Survey (COVID)
Student voice is central to youth development and social emotional learning. Strikingly, the least heard voice in the COVID and "return to school" conversation was the voice of students. Roulhac Enterprises took on the challenge to work with parents and families and help students have their voices heard. One hunderd fifty-eight participants completed the survey. Survey participants represented high school districts from every region on the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
